Salaries

The  salaries offered in merchant navy are far more competetive than available on shore jobs. Salaries  are different for Indian Companies and different for Foreign Companies and also differs from company to company.

Captain gets paid  between 3.5 Lakhs to 4.5 Lakhs.

Chief Engineer gets paid between 2.5 Lakhs to 3.5 Lakhs.

4/E, 3/E, 2/E gets paid between 90 Thousand to 3.5 Lakhs.

Deck Officers get paid between 1 Lakh to 3.5 Lakhs.

Trainees gets paid between 25 thousand to 45 thousand.
